Subsoiling - It is important that soil drains well.  Subsoilers are used to open up deep drainage channels in compacted soil that puddles and does not drain properly. Monroe Tufline Subsoilers are available in one, two and three shank models.  The shanks are spaced about 30" apart, and work the soil up to 18" deep.  It takes 25 HP per shank along with good tire traction to operate it.  They all have heavy duty construction.
